It does detect the Netstick when told to look for 3G/4G modems, and the Netstick itself gets a blue light, but the router doesn’t regard it as offering connectivity.

I haven’t tried, Rick. Chances are it does if your Chromebooks connects to the Internet via Wi-Fi when you plug it in (so it can download driver), but I’m not 100% sure.

I think your best option is turning your computer into the router. You just need to get a Wi-Fi card for the machine if it doesn’t already have one. Alternatively, you can use an Asus router, most of them support USB modem (though I haven’t tested.)
