In reply to Andrew. That likely won't work well, if at all. The XT8 doesn't support Powerline and the XP4 is Dual-band. Give this post a good read!

Hi! Thank you, very helpful review! I am currently considering this model as I need to cover one room which is behind thick walls, and also I am planning to combine it with XT8, so in total to get 4 units (2xXP4 + 2xXT8) all in the same Mesh Network. Main one will be XT8.
What do you think, will they all work together, considering that I need to set one XP4 to use backhaul via powerline, and the 2nd XP4 to connect via wireless to the XT8?
