How to Allow Ads on Dong Knows Tech

Thank you for allowing ads. Alternatively, you can subscribe, and your adblockers will be left alone.

Just because the no-nonsense content you’re consuming here is free, doesn’t mean it comes out of thin air. Ads pay for the serious labor, hardware, and operating costs.

Below are steps to allowlist a website in different adblockers.

How to allow ads and disable adBlockers
If you use multiple adblockers, please elect to allow ads for the site in all of them.

A. For a desktop browser (on a desktop or laptop computer)

The general steps for all adblockers on a desktop browser: Find the icon of your adblocker in the upper right corner of your current browser’s window, then choose appropriate steps to allow ads on the site.

AdBlock Plus

Steps to allow ads on a website for Adblock Plus:

  1. Click the AdBlock Plus icon in the extension bar
  2. Click the toggle next to “Block ads on:” to allow the website
  3. Click “Refresh” at the bottom for changes to take effect

AdBlock – Chrome

Steps to allow ads on a website for Adblock on Chrome:

  1. Click the AdBlock icon
  2. Click the “Pause on this site” button to add the site to the allowed list

AdBlock – Firefox & Edge

Steps to allow ads on a website for Adblock on Firefox or Edge:

  1. Click the AdBlock icon
  2. Click the “Don’t run on pages on this domain” button
  3. Click the “Exclude” button on the popup to allow the site in Firefox and Edge

AdBlocker For Chrome

Steps to allow ads on a website for AdBlocker For Chrome:

  1. Click on the AdBlocker For Chrome icon in the extension bar
  2. Click the “Pause on this site” button to allow ads on the website

AdBlocker Ultimate

Steps to allow ads on a website for AdBlocker Ultimate:

  1. Click on the AdBlocker Ultimate icon in the extension bar
  2. Click the toggle button next to “Enabled on this site” to add the website to your allowed list

AdGuard

Steps to allow ads on a website for AdGuard:

  1. Click on the Adguard icon in the extension bar
  2. Click on the toggle next to the “Protection on this website” text
  3. The site will be added to the allowed list for AdGuard

AdLock

Steps to allow ads on a website for AdLock:

  1. Click on the AdLock icon in the extension bar
  2. Click on the toggle next to the “Show ads on this page” text

AdRemover

Steps to allow ads on a website for AdRemover:

  1. Click on the AdRemover icon in the extension bar
  2. Click the “Disable on This Website” button to allow ads on the site

Ghostery

Steps to allow ads on a website for Ghostery:

  1. Click on the Ghostery icon in the extension bar
  2. Click on the “Trust Site” button to allow ads with Ghostery

uBlock/uBlock Origin

Steps to allow ads on a website for uBlock or uBlock Origin:

  1. Click on the uBlock or uBlock Origin icon in the extension bar
  2. Click on the big, blue power button to turn off the ad-blocking extension for the page
  3. Refresh the web page to complete the process

SuperBlock Adblocker

Steps to allow ads on a website for SuperBlock Adblocker:

  1. Click on the SuperBlock Adblocker icon in the extension bar
  2. Click on the “Don’t run on pages on this domain” button
  3. Click the “Exclude” button on the pop-up to allow ads

AdAware

Steps to allow ads on a website for AdAware:

  1. Click on the AdAware icon in the extension bar
  2. Click on the large orange power button to allow the site
  3. Click “Reload” to refresh the site

AdBlock Genesis

Steps to allow ads on a website for Adblock Genesis:

  1. Click on the Adblock Genesis icon in the extension bar
  2. Click on the button that says “Whitelist Website” to stop the ad-blocking function for the site.
Brave Browser

Brave

Steps to allow ads on a website for Brave:

  1. Click on the orange lion icon to the right of the address bar
  2. Click the toggle on the top right, shifting from “Up” to “Down”

Disconnect

Steps to allow ads on a website for Disconnect:

  1. Click on the Disconnect icon in the extension bar
  2. Click the button that says “Whitelist Site” to disable

DuckDuckGo

Steps to allow ads on a website for DuckDuckGo?

  • Click on the DuckDuckGo icon in the extension bar
  • Click on the toggle next to the words “Site Privacy Protection”
  • This should add the site to their allowed list

Firefox Tracking Protection

Steps to allow ads on a website for Firefox Tracking Protection:

  1. Click on the shield icon on the left side of the address bar
  2. Click the button that says ”Disable protection for this site”

Malwarebytes Browser Guard

Steps to allow ads on a website for Malwarebytes Browser Guard:

  1. Click on the Malwarebytes icon in the extension bar
  2. Click on the blue Ads/ Trackers toggle to disable

NoScript

Steps to allow ads on a website for NoScript:

  1. Click on the NoScript icon
  2. Click on the S icon with the contextual menu that says “TRUSTED”
  3. This should add the website to their allowed list

Opera

Steps to allow ads on a website for Opera:

  1. Click on the blue shield icon on the right side of the address bar
  2. Click the toggle next to “Ads are blocked on this site” to turn that off

Privacy Badger

Steps to allow ads on a website for Privacy Badger:

  1. Click on the Privacy Badger icon in the extension bar
  2. Click on the button that says “Disable Privacy Badger for this site”

ScriptSafe

Steps to allow ads on a website for ScriptSafe:

  1. Click on the ScriptSafe Button in the extension bar
  2. Click on the “Trust” button to disable ad-blocking for this site

Stands / Fair Adblocker

Steps to allow ads on a website for Stands/ Fair Adblocker:

  1. Click on the Stands icon in the extension bar
  2. Click the button that says “Whitelist Site” to disable

UltraBlock

Steps to whitelist a website for Ultrablock:

  1. Click on the UltraBlock icon in the extension bar
  2. Click on the “Disable UltraBlock for ‘domain name here’ ” checkbox

B. For a mobile browser (on phone or tablet)

Due to the small screen, it’s a bit more involved to manage an adblocker on a mobile browser. But generally, you access the menu or button of the blocker and choose to allow ads on the site.

Steps to allow ads on a website for Adblock Browser:

  1. Click on the Menu button in the top right corner of the browser
  2. Click on the “Block ads on this site” button in the menu

Brave

Steps to allow ads on a website for Brave:

  1. Click on the orange lion in the top right corner of the browser
  2. Click on the toggle next to “Shields” to disable ad-blocking for this website

CM Browser

Steps to allow ads on a website for CM Browser:

  1. Click on the green shield on the left side of the address bar
  2. Click on the toggle that says “Disable adblocker for this website”

Firefox Focus

Steps to allow ads on a website for Firefox Focus:

  1. Click on the menu button to the right of the address bar
  2. Click on the “Trackers blocked” toggle to remove ad-blocking for this site

Free Adblocker Browser

Steps to allow ads on a website for Free Adblocker Browser?

  1. Click on the shield button in the bottom right-hand corner of the browser
  2. Click on the toggle that says “Adblocking on …….”

Opera

Steps to allow ads on a website for Opera Mobile:

  1. Click on the red ‘O’ button in the bottom right-hand corner
  2. Click on the toggle that says “Block ads” and turn it off.

UC Browser

Steps to allow ads on a website for UC Browser:

  1. Click on the menu button at the bottom center of the browser
  2.  Click on the “Tools” button in the menu that pops up
  3. Click on the “Ad Block” button in the “Tools” menu
  4. Click on the “Ad Blocker” toggle button
